Kenetrek has created a superbly built mountaineering boot for guides and hardcore hunters that are extremely tough on their boots and routinely travel in brutally rugged terrain. The Kenetrek Mountain Guide has many of the features of the very popular Mountain Extreme with the addition of a stiffer midsole combined with the fully crampon compatable Vibram Vertige outsole. The leather uppers on the Kenetrek Mountain Guide are a full grain 3.2 mm leather protected with a coating of Polyurethane in a process similar to the coating sprayed in the bed of a pickup truck. This provides extra durability and moisture protection. The same waterproof and breathable Windtex membrane and 400 grams of Thinsulate insulation keep you warm and dry no matter what the weather is like. Even with all of this support and durability, the Kenetrek Mountain Guide will still surprise you with a level of comfort unavailable ... until now! Made in Italy.
